I'm devastated to announce that this morning, at 11:50 a.m., my father Jack Anthony Stone passed away at the age of 58. For the past 7 years I have been living with both he and my mother in order to help take care of him due to his severe physical disability. I found him in his bed and it appeared, thankfully, that he passed away in his sleep.

For those of you who may not know, he wasn't just my father, but he was also our biggest fan. Going so far as to have the band's name tattooed on his forearm. He befriended anyone and everyone involved with Mortal Pain and welcomed them into his home as if they were family.

He worked for 18 years as a police officer with the Santa Monica Police Department, where he was affectionately known as the Street Monster. He was also a general manager at Teledyne Systems and a professor of business ethics at California Lutheran University for many years.

I love you, dad, and will miss you always.
